The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for recruiting for full-time positions and part-time internships across the following disciplines: Creative, Project Management, Technical and Sales. This will be done through the development and execution of local and regional recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new and creative recruiting ideas.  The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best talent possible.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify and prescreen quality candidates that match both the technical and interpersonal skills required to be successful in Gorilla’s dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the college academic faculty, career office employees and students
  • Coordinate and lead all campus recruiting events including career fairs
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, groups and employees 
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need through various sourcing techniques focused on digital talent
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates
  • Post openings in online advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues
  • Utilize diverse channels of digital and social media sites for recruitment 
  • Maintain accurate reporting 

You should bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 2+ years professional experience recruiting in professional services, advertising, marketing, or agency environment  
  • At least 1 year experience working as a campus recruiter or heavily involved in campus recruiting
  • Successful track record recruiting and filling positions
  • Effective communicator with strong organizational skills
  • Sourcing wizard with expert knowledge of Linkedin, applicant tracking systems, and various other job boards and sourcing tools
  • Self-directed, quick learner with ability to adapt to our ever changing recruiting demands
